Registered Nurse - Acute Care Orthopedic Telemetry Unit

Role: Inpatient Registered Nurse responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care in a clinical setting. Responsibilities: Conduct assessments, develop and coordinate care plans, provide treatments, administer medications, and perform diagnostic procedures. Evaluate intervention effectiveness, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, troubleshoot equipment issues, and participate in quality improvement initiatives. Promote patient safety, education, and satisfaction through compassionate interactions and adherence to policies. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program; Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Ability to coordinate care and participate in evidence-based practices. Key Duties: Ensure high-quality patient care, support safety and safety education, contribute to unit and organizational metrics, and engage in continuous learning and safety programs. Work primarily in private and semi-private rooms with a diverse patient population, including orthopedic and surgical cases. Additional Information: Work hours include overnight shifts with holiday and weekend requirements. The role involves promoting a culture of excellence, safety, and compassionate care within a collaborative environment.
