Registered Nurse (RN) - Circulating - Full-Time Days

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Periop Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in the operating room, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. They ensure individualized care using evidence-based practices, promote teamwork, and support performance improvement initiatives. Core Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—adapting care to patient needs and cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, keeping patient goals central to care. Coordinate and document safe, quality care, fostering respectful, inclusive clinical environments. Support performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practices through participation and leadership. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a qualified workforce and model professional nursing standards. Promote adherence to organizational policies, legal and regulatory standards, including accreditation and safety goals. Plan proactively for patient care across the continuum, developing protocols to improve outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors preferred. RN license (single-state or multi-state compact). Current BLS certification; ACLS, PALS preferred.
