Role Overview The RN Clinical Nurse Critical Care is a vital member of an interdisciplinary team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a critical care environment. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, patients, and families to optimize outcomes. Key Responsibilities Implement the nursing process through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs. Partner with patients and families, ensuring clear communication and shared goal setting. Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary teamwork, timely documentation, and fostering a respectful environment. Engage in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and workforce sustainability. Contribute to protocol development and resource management to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred. Current RN license and certifications including BLS, ACLS, and appropriate licensure (single state or multi-state compact). Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Additional Requirements Adherence to professional standards, organizational policies, and safety protocols. Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills. Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
