Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is a vital member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care in a clinical setting. They perform the nursing process, utilizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and cultural competence to meet individualized patient needs. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, partnering with patients and families to set goals. Coordinate and document safe, high-quality care through effective communication and teamwork, supporting performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering a skilled and engaged workforce. Promote evidence-based practice, participate in research, and ensure compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Support resource management, develop protocols, and contribute to continuous quality improvement. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's nursing degree preferred. Valid RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Minimum five years of RN experience, preferably with direct patient care background. Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, demonstrating decisive, respectful responses to emergencies. Proficient in technology use, time management, and critical thinking skills.
