Role: Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Acute Care for Ortho Surgical units, working full-time night shifts. Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care through the nursing process, emphasizing evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and patient-centered relationships. Collaborate effectively within interdisciplinary teams, ensure accurate documentation, and support performance improvement initiatives. Serve as a mentor for staff and students, promote research and evidence-based practice, and adhere to organizational policies and standards. Proactively plan patient care across the continuum, develop protocols, and utilize resources efficiently. Qualifications & Skills: Must hold an active RN license (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Educational requirements include an associate's or diploma in nursing (bachelor’s preferred). Essential skills include strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, time management, and proficiency with clinical technology. Ability to respond decisively in fast-paced environments is required.
