RN - Acute Care - Ortho Surgical - Weekend Night - Full-Time

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care • Ortho Surgical, working full-time nights with a weekend schedule. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation based on evidence-based practices. Deliver patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, ensuring cultural sensitivity. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate safe, high-quality care within an interdisciplinary team, ensuring timely documentation and fostering a respectful environment. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and shared governance to promote safety and quality outcomes. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and maintaining clinical competencies. Advocate for evidence-based practice, participate in protocol development, and ensure compliance with organizational policies and standards. Utilize resources efficiently, plan across the care continuum, and contribute to performance improvement projects. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Current RN license (single-state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience with direct patient care.
