Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Critical Care for ICU, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive patient care tailored to individual needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are central to care plans. Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork, interdisciplinary communication, and a respectful environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and uphold organizational policies and standards, including safety and accreditation protocols. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional development and a healthy work environment. Engage in professional growth activities, including ongoing education and competency assessments. Participate in protocol development and resource management to optimize patient outcomes and resource utilization. Qualifications And Skills Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred from an accredited nursing program. Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and certifications in BLS, ACLS (Instructor or Provisional). Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation; ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments. This role involves delivering compassionate, evidence-based critical care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and contributing to continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes.
