Registered Nurse - Emergency Department - Full Time - Days

The Registered Professional Nurse (RN) provides safe, comprehensive, and patient-centered nursing care. They identify health status alterations, assess responses to health problems, develop and implement nursing interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness to optimize patient outcomes. Whenever possible, the RN involves patients, families, and significant others in care planning and evaluation. The RN supervises and delegates care to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAPs), coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care. They contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment, practicing autonomously and advocating for patients. The RN supports innovative care approaches, fosters trust, and upholds professional excellence. Qualifications BSN and professional nursing board certification preferred at hire; nurses without a BSN must obtain one within three years. Nurses hired after June 30, 2011, without certification must obtain it within two years or as soon as eligible. Current RN license in the state of practice is required. Note: This role does not involve operating vehicles for work purposes unless meeting specific frequent driver criteria.
