Local Class A CDL Truck Driver

Role: Responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor trailer to customers, ensuring proper delivery, unloading, and compliance with safety and food handling standards. Key Responsibilities Unload products manually or with equipment, placing items per customer specifications in all weather conditions. Complete paperwork accurately, including delivery logs, inspections, and invoices. Maintain food safety and sanitary standards in vehicles and warehouse areas. Develop positive customer relationships through courteous service and effective communication. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent; tractor trailer driving experience preferred or completion of a driving school. Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License and insurability to operate a vehicle. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe lifting/delivery practices. Ability to operate large vehicles, read/write English, perform basic math, and solve problems independently. Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly, climb in/out of trucks, and handle equipment. Work Environment: Occasional exposure to extreme weather, moving mechanical parts, confined spaces, and moderate noise. Physical activity includes lifting, pushing, and reaching during loading/unloading.
