Medical Surgical Registered Nurse

Join our Critical Care Step Down Unit as a Registered Nurse, providing care for patients with conditions such as congestive heart failure, COPD, DKA, and sepsis. In this role, you will utilize skills like EKG interpretation, central line care, and assist with bedside procedures such as endoscopies and bronchoscopies. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 5:1 in a 24-bed unit equipped with advanced technology including patient lifts, virtual whiteboards, and telemetry monitoring. You will collaborate with PCNAs, Nurse Interns, providers, and therapy teams to deliver comprehensive care. Responsibilities include critical thinking, delegation, time management, and bedside procedures. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current RN licensure in Ohio, and BLS certification, with ACLS preferred. Preferred Candidates Hold a BSN.
