Summary : The Senior Corporate Accountant role is a cross-functional role that will serve the Corporate Finance team in a variety of accounting and finance activities. This role will work closely with the Manager of Corporate Accounting and the larger finance team with month-end close, financial reporting, and special projects. This role will require knowledge of month-end close best practices, automation, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and with multiple departments. This position will report to the Manager of Corporate Accounting and will have direct C-suite exposure. Responsibilities: Prepare month-end journal entries and reconciliations Prepare monthly internal and external financial reporting packages Assist with annual financial statement preparation, audit, and other compliance requirements Prepare ad-hoc reporting as needed Analyze underlying data to catch discrepancies, trends, and anomalies Improve and automate processes where possible, leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency Qualifications: Public accounting background and CPA strongly preferred Solid grasp of GAAP and general ledger accounting Ability to analyze and interpret large financial datasets to identify trends and discrepancies; familiarity with SQL (joins, basic querying) or eagerness to learn is a plus Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, strong formula writing, etc.) NetSuite and Ramp experience is a plus, but not required Attention to detail and quality Strong organization and time management skills; ability to effectively handle multiple projects Excellent communication skills A proactive self-starter who takes ownership of tasks, operates independently, and is comfortable taking initiative and thinking creatively to solve problems when faced with the unknown Years of Experience Desired: 3-5 years Bachelor or higher in Accounting and/or Finance WHAT WE PROVIDE Competitive base salary Unlimited Paid Time Off 10 Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, Vision, and other ancillary benefits COMPANY CULTURE At Lucent Health, our success is built on employees who are honest, ethical and hardworking.
