Sound exciting? We think so! JOB SUMMARY AerCap Materials Inc. has an immediate opening for an Accounting Policy Analyst. The Accounting Policy Analyst researches technical accounting issues, proposes updates to accounting policies, and helps maintains internal financial controls. You will ensure compliance with US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements for aircraft and engine component supply chain operations. AerCap Materials is a division of AerCap and is a premier distributor of airframe and engine components available for purchase or lease. AerCap Materials provides comprehensive solutions for aircraft supply chains. With nearly 50 years of leading aftermarket experience and among the largest inventories to support mid-life and new-generation aircraft, AerCap Materials is the proven provider of full life cycle and supply chain solutions. The scale, experience and accessibility of our global team provides ready access to support the aviation industry. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Policy Management: Research complex accounting standards and update internal accounting policies. SOX Compliance: Design, test, and monitor quarterly SOX internal controls and operational workflows. Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews and year-end testing. Process Improvement: Identify control gaps and streamline financial processes within inventory and asset distribution systems. Cross-Functional Training: Advise operational teams in Memphis on compliance requirements and accounting updates. Other projects and duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES Educational/Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 2 to 5 years of corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial compliance experience. Certifications: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. Key Competencies Strong knowledge of US GAAP principles. Demonstrated hands-on experience with SOX testing and internal controls. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP system familiarity.
