Senior Accountant

We're Hiring: Senior Accountant | High-Tech Manufacturing Startup | Palo Alto, CA Interested in joining a high-growth startup where you can take ownership, build processes, and make a meaningful impact? I'm partnering with an innovative, high-tech manufacturing company in Palo Alto that is looking to add a Senior Accountant to its growing finance team. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into the details, owning the month-end close, and improving accounting processes in a fast-paced environment. What you'll be doing: Own general ledger accounts and key month-end close activities within a five-business-day close. Prepare journal entries, accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Investigate complex account activity, resolve reconciling items, and perform variance analysis. Strengthen close processes, documentation, and internal controls. Partner with cross-functional teams and support external audits. What we're looking for: 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with strong GL and month-end close ownership. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, technical accounting skills, and Excel proficiency. Background in technology, manufacturing, consumer products, aerospace, or a related industry. CPA or CPA candidate preferred; startup experience is a plus.
