TAX DIRECTOR Compensation: $150,000 to $220,000 based on experience + benefits Location: Salt Lake, Utah 20+ Years Tax Experience | Tax Leadership | High-Net-Worth Clients Position Overview Lead the tax department and serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. Develop strategic tax solutions, oversee complex tax portfolios, and guide a talented team of tax professionals. Drive client satisfaction and long-term relationships through strategic tax planning, compliance oversight, and clear, practical advisory support. What You Will Do Lead and manage the tax department and mentor staff Oversee complex tax portfolios and compliance Develop strategic tax planning and tax-saving strategies Advise high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations Review financial statements and provide strategic guidance Manage IRS procedures and tax controversies Build and maintain strong client relationships Collaborate across teams on complex projects Required Qualifications WHAT YOU WILL BRING 20+ years of tax advisory experience Experience with high-net-worth individuals, partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations Proven experience managing tax departments and mentoring staff Deep expertise in high-level tax planning and structural structuring Strong client relationship and communication skills Proficiency with Lacerte or comparable tax compliance software Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel Exceptional analytical skills and financial statement review experience Familiarity with IRS procedures and tax controversies Ability to stay current with evolving tax laws and compliance standards Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA designation preferred Experience with estate and personal income tax planning Knowledge of accounting processes and financial statement analysis Experience researching and implementing innovative tax-saving strategies Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients WHY JOIN Lead strategically: Shape tax strategy and lead a tax department Make an impact: Advise high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses Develop talent: Mentor and guide a team of tax professionals Drive innovation: Develop strategic tax solutions that support client success,
