Fund Accountant American Fork, UT | Hybrid $75,000–$90,000+ Base Salary | Full-Time About the Opportunity A growing Utah-based investment and development firm is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its accounting team. The company manages a diverse portfolio of investments and development projects across multiple markets. This is an opportunity for an accountant with 2–4 years of experience to join a growing organization and gain exposure to multi-entity accounting, investment structures, financial reporting, joint ventures, and special-purpose entities. What You'll Do Maintain day-to-day accounting for assigned investment and development entities Manage accounting activities across multiple entities, including joint ventures and special-purpose entities Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Assist with accounting related to real estate development and construction activity Support accounting for property, equipment, and leases Manage intercompany and related-party transactions, including shared services, management fees, and cost allocations Assist with cash management and invoice processing across assigned entities Support year-end financial and tax reporting and coordinate information requests from external tax providers Prepare financial reports, schedules, and data summaries for management Assist with consolidation and elimination entries Identify opportunities to improve and automate recurring accounting and reporting processes Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting required 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience Experience in fund accounting, real estate, investment management, construction accounting, or a related environment preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience working with multiple entities or complex accounting structures High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills CPA or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus, but not required Interest in utilizing AI and technology to improve accounting processes is a plus Compensation & Benefits $75,000–$90,000+ base salary; compensation can be higher for highly qualified candidates 401(k) with company match Health insurance with HSA match Flexible PTO Daily company lunches Cell phone allowance Discounts at company-owned resorts and golf properties Hybrid work environment
