This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who wants to grow their career while working closely with a seasoned finance leader handling: Month-End Close & Financial Reporting Assist with the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate internal financial statements. Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement supporting schedules. Analyze revenue and expense accounts and verify accuracy through detailed workpapers. Account Reconciliations Perform monthly reconciliations for key accounts. Fixed assets and accumulated depreciation. Accrued expenses. Work in process and inventory accounts. Maintain thorough reconciliation workpapers and investigate and resolve variances. Reporting & Analysis Prepare VIS reporting for management. Support balance sheet reconciliation packages and expense reporting. Ensure all financial results are supported by complete and accurate documentation. Audit & Tax Support Assist with year-end audit preparation, including schedules and supporting documentation. Participate in the year-end physical inventory count. Provide financial information to external tax preparers. Payroll Accounting Complete weekly and monthly payroll reconciliations to ensure payroll expenses and related liabilities are recorded accurately. Based on general knowledge.
