Yes Overview HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Enterprise Director of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of hotels across multiple markets. This individual will take ownership of developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that strengthen hotel positioning, drive revenue growth, and support overall commercial objectives. The role encompasses digital marketing, brand positioning, content development, public relations, partnerships, and targeted initiatives supporting transient, group, business travel, food and beverage, and ancillary revenue streams. Serving as the primary marketing leader for assigned properties, the Enterprise Director will work closely with General Managers, Directors of Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, ownership groups, and external agency partners to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable results. The ideal candidate is a proactive, commercially minded marketing leader who combines strategic thinking with strong execution, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities. Marketing Strategy & Commercial Leadership Develop, own, and execute comprehensive annual marketing plans aligned with each property's business objectives, revenue strategy, and competitive positioning. Identify opportunities to grow market share, increase direct bookings, strengthen brand awareness, and drive incremental revenue. Partner with hotel leadership, Sales, and Revenue Management to develop targeted initiatives supporting transient, group, business travel, meetings, weddings, F&B, and ancillary revenue opportunities. Proactively identify market trends, need periods, and emerging opportunities, translating insights into actionable marketing initiatives. Lead the development of seasonal campaigns, experiential packages, local partnerships, and strategic promotions designed to stimulate demand and enhance hotel positioning. Participate in property commercial meetings, budget planning, ownership presentations, and strategic business reviews. Digital Marketing & Channel Performance Oversee the digital marketing strategy across brand websites, independent websites, paid search, metasearch, paid social, SEO, email marketing, and CRM platforms. Evaluate channel performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, direct revenue contribution, customer acquisition, and marketing efficiency. Work closely with internal digital specialists and external agencies to ensure campaigns are strategically aligned, effectively executed, and continuously optimized. Lead website content optimization, including landing pages, destination content, promotional offers, and enhancements that improve visibility and conversion. Support evolving search strategies, including organic search, AI-driven discovery, and emerging digital marketing opportunities. Ensure digital initiatives are integrated into the broader commercial strategy rather than operating independently. Brand Positioning, Content & Experiences Develop compelling property-level marketing strategies that differentiate each hotel within its competitive market. Oversee content planning and execution, including photography, videography, creative campaigns, and digital storytelling. Identify opportunities for PR, influencer partnerships, local collaborations, and experiential marketing initiatives. Ensure marketing content accurately represents each property's positioning, amenities, guest experience, and unique selling points. Maintain consistency across brand channels, independent websites, social media, digital advertising, and other guest-facing communications. Collaborate with property teams to develop and promote packages, events, and experiences that support revenue growth and guest engagement. Agency & Project Management Serve as the primary marketing contact for assigned properties, coordinating projects across internal teams, hotel stakeholders, and external partners. Direct agency partners across paid media, creative development, SEO, PR, and other marketing disciplines. Establish clear project objectives, timelines, deliverables, and performance expectations. Maintain accountability for timely execution, quality control, and accuracy across all marketing initiatives. Independently manage competing priorities while ensuring projects move forward without unnecessary delays. Evaluate agency performance and recommend adjustments to improve effectiveness and return on investment. Performance Reporting & Financial Accountability Develop and manage property marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated strategically across channels and initiatives. Monitor performance against established KPIs, including revenue contribution, return on advertising spend, website performance, direct booking growth, campaign engagement, and lead generation. Translate marketing results into clear, actionable insights for hotel leadership and ownership. Prepare and present marketing performance updates, strategic recommendations, and annual business plans. Proactively identify underperforming initiatives and implement corrective strategies. Demonstrate an understanding of how marketing investment contributes to overall hotel profitability and commercial performance. Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership Build strong, collaborative relationships with General Managers, Directors of Sales and Marketing, Revenue Management, and ownership representatives. Serve as a trusted strategic marketing partner, providing direction, recommendations, and proactive communication. Take ownership of marketing priorities and drive accountability across internal and external stakeholders. Communicate clearly and consistently regarding project status, performance, opportunities, and challenges. Collaborate across HEI's corporate marketing team to leverage shared resources, best practices, and portfolio-wide initiatives. Travel to assigned properties as needed to support business planning, content development, strategic initiatives, and commercial alignment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred. Minimum 5–7 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within hospitality, travel, lifestyle, or multi-property environments. Demonstrated experience developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies with measurable commercial results. Strong understanding of hotel revenue segmentation, including leisure transient, business travel, group, meetings, and ancillary revenue. Proven knowledge of paid media, SEO, website optimization, CRM, email marketing, content strategy, and digital analytics. Experience managing marketing budgets, agency partners, and multiple concurrent projects. Ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into meaningful business recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability, with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively identify solutions. Experience with Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, or independent hotel marketing platforms is highly desirable. Willingness to travel approximately 25–40% based on portfolio requirements.
