About the Role: The Customer Service Representative II plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information in a timely manner. This position requires a deep understanding of company products and services to effectively assist customers and enhance their overall experience. The representative will handle more complex customer interactions than entry-level roles, requiring problem-solving skills and the ability to manage escalations professionally. Success in this role contributes directly to customer satisfaction, retention, and the company’s reputation for reliability and responsiveness. The role also involves collaborating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is communicated for continuous improvement. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service role. Proficiency with customer relationship management (CRM) software and basic computer applications. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Associate’s degree or higher in business, communications, or related field. Experience in the specific industry related to the company’s products or services. Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish and English. Familiarity with conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques. Certification in customer service or related professional development courses. Responsibilities: Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring clear and accurate communication. Resolve customer issues by identifying problems, researching answers, and providing appropriate solutions or escalating when necessary. Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints in the CRM system. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, technical support, and billing to address customer needs and improve service delivery. Follow up with customers to ensure their issues have been resolved satisfactorily and gather feedback to enhance service quality. Skills: The required skills such as effective communication and CRM proficiency are essential for managing daily customer interactions and ensuring accurate documentation of each case. Problem-solving skills enable the representative to analyze customer issues and provide timely, appropriate solutions, which is critical for maintaining customer satisfaction. Time management and multitasking skills help in handling a high volume of inquiries without compromising service quality. Preferred skills like bilingual communication expand the representative’s ability to serve a diverse customer base, enhancing inclusivity and accessibility. Additionally, knowledge of conflict resolution techniques supports the handling of escalated situations calmly and professionally, contributing to positive outcomes and customer loyalty. This position is located in West Sayville, NY and pays $20.00 per hour.
