Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-Time Day Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care for Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Performing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Partnering with patients and families to deliver individualized care that respects cultural diversity and promotes safety and outcomes. Ensuring effective communication through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and fostering a respectful clinical environment. Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance patient safety and quality care. Mentoring and serving as preceptor to foster a competent and professional nursing workforce. Participating in protocol development, resource management, and compliance with policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Valid RN license (single state or multi-state Compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
