Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - $38-48/hr

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) Senior in Medical/Surgical (Med Surg) unit. Responsibilities: Provide patient-centered care, assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses. Delegate interventions according to Texas Nursing Practice Act, maintain accurate documentation, and serve as a resource for patients and staff. Act as a preceptor or Charge Nurse, participate in community outreach, and promote safety, infection control, and compliance with regulations. Foster teamwork, support professional growth, and recommend process improvements. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least 2 years of RN experience, preferably in acute care. Valid RN license or temporary permit from Texas, with current BLS certification. Must demonstrate excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills. Ability to provide direction to staff, serve as a preceptor, and handle emergency situations effectively. Key Duties: Coordinate and deliver high-quality nursing care, ensure regulatory compliance, facilitate patient education and discharge planning, and contribute to a positive team environment. Maintain current knowledge of nursing standards and participate in ongoing professional development.
