Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical - $38-48/hr

Seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a Senior Med Surg role in an acute care setting. Responsibilities include: coordinating patient care using the nursing process, assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient responses. Providing patient-centered care, advocating for patient needs, ensuring confidentiality, and respecting cultural preferences. Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations, documentation accuracy, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Serving as a resource and mentor for team members, including precepting new staff and serving as a charge nurse on rotation. Engaging in professional development through seminars, workshops, and reading, and staying current with nursing standards and trends. Qualifications Include Graduate of an accredited nursing program. At least two years of RN experience, preferably in an acute care environment. Current RN license or valid temporary permit in Texas, with BLS certification from AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network.
