Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Specialized Masters Programs

In this role, you will represent and promote the Mendoza College of Business Specialized Masters Programs while leading a dedicated team of admissions professionals. You’ll drive recruitment and enrollment strategy, build strategic university partnerships, and collaborate across Notre Dame to attract and enroll top talent in the Mendoza Specialized Masters Programs. The Senior Associate Director of Admissions, Specialized Masters Programs, reports to the Director of Graduate Admissions and is an integral part of the Mendoza Graduate Enrollment Team. In partnership with and under the strategic direction of the Director, the Sr. Associate Director of Admissions is responsible for overseeing the recruiting and admissions process for the Mendoza Specialized Masters programs including the MSA, MSBA, MSF, MSM, and MSDM programs. This position will work in partnership with the Senior Director of Enrollment and Director of Admissions to set program-level admissions strategies for the Specialized Masters portfolio for each admissions cycle as the team works towards the program enrollment goals and target cohort profiles set in partnership with Mendoza College and Academic Leadership. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Lead and manage a team of four admissions professionals, driving talent acquisition, retention, and development while implementing effective management practices that foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture. Partner with the Director of Admissions to develop and execute comprehensive strategies for prospective student communications, virtual events, recruitment, engagement, and yield for the Notre Dame Specialized Masters Programs, ensuring alignment with program goals and successful implementation. Actively recruit prospective students through targeted phone and email outreach, on-campus events, and representation of the Notre Dame Specialized Masters Programs at domestic recruitment events; small amount of travel required. Actively participating in the SMP Admissions Decision process including reading and evaluating applications, interviewing candidates, leading and executing admissions and scholarship committees, while managing progress towards enrollment goals, target class profile, and scholarship budget. Serve as the primary Specialized Masters Program liaison to cross-functional partners, including six Academic Directors and teams across Marketing, Career Development, Experiential Learning, and Student Life, ensuring alignment and effective collaboration. Creating strategy and managing the process for developing new MOU agreements with universities that align with the College’s goals while also maintaining existing relationships of current MOU’s, ensuring partnership with Notre Dame General Counsel is executed throughout. Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field required; Master’s degree preferred. Experience: 5–6 years of relevant professional experience preferred.
