Staff Accountant - Addison, TX (75k-80k + 10% Bonus)

LHH is seeking a Staff Accountant for an established organization with a complex, operationally focused business environment. This role is well suited for a full-cycle accounting professional with strong financial reporting experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to analyze revenue and expense activity. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, deadline-oriented, and comfortable partnering with both accounting and cross-functional leadership teams. Job Responsibilities Support all aspects of financial reporting, including financial statement preparation and advanced balance sheet reconciliations. Perform full-cycle accounting activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial information. Analyze expenses and support business teams with expense control, gross margin analysis, and identification of trends or variances. Apply and maintain compliance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), internal accounting policies, best practices, and internal controls. Assist with the preparation and development of the annual budget. Apply strong knowledge of revenue accounting processes to review and analyze P&Ls, identify trends, investigate discrepancies, and ensure financial accuracy. Research accounting issues, resolve problems, and support ongoing improvements to financial processes and reporting. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting required. 3+ years of full-cycle accounting experience. Strong knowledge of financial reporting, account reconciliations, and revenue accounting. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Experience with Oracle or another major ERP system preferred. Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SOX, and internal controls.
