• Ortho Surgical is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice within a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies, ensuring adherence to nursing ethics and the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act. Key Responsibilities: Performing comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using critical thinking and individualized approaches. Partnering with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making, respecting cultural diversity. Ensuring accurate documentation and fostering teamwork through interdisciplinary collaboration and respectful communication. Supporting performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality. Mentoring and serving as a resource to other nurses and staff, contributing to workforce development. Developing protocols and optimizing resource utilization to improve patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation, with the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, emergency response environment.
