Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care by collaborating with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs. They serve as a primary communicator between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and safety. Key Responsibilities Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions, contributing to care plans and promoting positive outcomes. Deliver safe, effective care in accordance with policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in documentation. Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns, providing education, and facilitating communication to enhance satisfaction. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, support change, and contribute ideas to improve patient care and staff satisfaction. Maintain professional licenses and certifications, pursue ongoing development, and stay current with industry best practices. Foster professional growth through mentorship, uphold standards of safety and confidentiality, and promote a positive work environment. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor’s preferred). Current RN license, either single state or multi-state compact. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Strong communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills.
