Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care - Ortho Trauma

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse provides high-quality nursing care within a patient care team, focusing on assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs. They act as a key intermediary between patients, families, providers, and staff, ensuring patient-centered care and satisfaction. Responsibilities include: Monitoring and evaluating patient conditions, assisting with care plans, and delivering safe, effective care following policies and procedures. Documenting assessments, care provided, and any incidents to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Advocating for patients, addressing concerns, and providing education to patients and families to promote understanding and engagement. Participating in performance improvement initiatives and supporting organizational goals for quality and satisfaction. Maintaining professional competence through ongoing training, certifications, and involvement in professional organizations. Mentoring colleagues, fostering a positive work environment, and adhering to confidentiality, safety, and professional standards. Qualifications and Skills: Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree preferred. Valid RN license, with multi-state or single-state certification. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Experience in direct patient care preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
