Senior Software Engineer

Locations: Dallas, TX | Chicago, IL | New York, NY | Houston, TX Working Pattern: Hybrid, typically onsite Monday-Wednesday About the Role Our client is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join a growing engineering team working primarily on greenfield, net-new development . This is an opportunity for an experienced software engineer to work on enterprise-grade applications, take ownership of features and contribute to technical design and architecture. The team places a strong emphasis on problem-solving, technical fundamentals, adaptability and collaboration . While the core technology environment includes .NET, React and Azure, our client is open to engineers from comparable technology backgrounds who can demonstrate strong engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn new technologies. What You'll Do Design, develop and deliver enterprise-grade software applications Work primarily on greenfield, net-new development rather than legacy application maintenance Take ownership of features and applications throughout the development lifecycle Contribute to technical design and architectural decisions Participate in code reviews and peer design discussions Work collaboratively with other engineers through pair programming and knowledge sharing Work directly with non-technical business stakeholders and communicate technical concepts clearly Troubleshoot application, deployment and infrastructure-related issues when required Work with CI/CD pipelines and modern cloud-based development environments Collaborate with a dedicated DevOps team Use AI-assisted development tools where appropriate Contribute to a collaborative engineering environment focused on continuous improvement What We're Looking For 5+ years of professional software engineering experience Bachelor's degree Strong software engineering fundamentals and problem-solving ability Experience developing enterprise-grade applications Experience with .NET / C# Experience with React , Angular or comparable frontend technologies Experience with Azure , AWS, GCP or another major cloud platform Full-stack development experience, with the ability to contribute across frontend and backend Experience taking ownership of applications or significant features Experience c
