Staff Accountant

Role Description The Keenan Group, a public accounting firm located in downtown Greensburg, is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Staff Accountant position. We believe that a good balance of work and personal life is important. We work in a professional atmosphere in a comfortable office building with cutting edge technology. Normal office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm with Saturdays as needed in tax season, however we do offer a flexible schedule. Responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: Performing bookkeeping tasks Performing reconciliations for bank accounts and general ledgers Preparing financial statements Preparing depreciation schedules by tracking fixed assets Performing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Performing payroll functions Ensuring monthly, quarterly and year end reports prepared accurately and on time Preparing individual, corporate, and partnership income tax returns Maintain a positive working relationship with clients Additional responsibilities will also be assigned based on experience. Successful candidates must have a high standard of accuracy and precision, be detail oriented, reliable, display a strong work ethic, positive attitude, strong time management and excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Upon starting, you will receive in-house training from The Keenan Group professionals. You will have full access to all levels of the firm, including partners – for any questions.
