Registered Nurse - Family Medicine

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) on the 3 East Medicine Team, providing inpatient care in a Level One Trauma Center with a focus on patient-centered services. Responsibilities: Conduct clinical assessments, manage medications, care for medical conditions such as diabetes and heart failure, perform IV therapy and procedures, monitor patients, coordinate care, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team including LPNs, PCNAs, providers, and therapy staff. Unit Details: Work in a 26-bed unit sharing space with oncology, including 14 medicine beds and 12 oncology beds, with recognition awards for excellence and collaboration. Qualifications: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, hold an active Ohio RN license, and obtain AHA BLS certification within 90 days if not already certified. Preferred qualifications include a BSN and professional certifications recognized by the Magnet designation.
