Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

provides inpatient psychiatric care to adults with behavioral health needs, ensuring safe, patient-centered treatment on the night shift. Key Duties Deliver direct nursing care in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. Complete patient assessments and monitor for changes in clinical status. Administer medications and evaluate patient responses. Identify early warning signs and help de-escalate behavioral health crises. Document care using evidence-based models and maintain accurate clinical records. Provide patient and family education to support understanding and coping strategies. Support discharge planning and coordinate with community resources to promote recovery. Qualifications / Skills Current RN licensure. Experience or strong competence in psychiatric/behavioral health nursing and crisis de-escalation. Strong clinical assessment, medication administration, and patient monitoring skills. Effective communication and collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and families. Proficiency in evidence-based documentation and care planning.
