HR Generalist Location: Odessa, Texas Job Type: Full-time Work Arrangement: In-office We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to provide day-to-day human resources support across the organization. This position will serve as a trusted resource for employees and management while supporting onboarding, employee relations, recruiting, investigations, HR administration and policy compliance. What You Will Do Manage onboarding for new employees, including offer letters, employment documentation, screenings and orientation Process promotions, transfers, job changes and other employment-status updates Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions, concerns and requests Provide guidance to managers regarding performance, attendance, conduct and HR policies Support employee relations matters and workplace investigations Assist with interviews, information gathering, documentation and investigation follow-up Support recruiting activities, including job postings, application reviews, interview coordination and candidate communication Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation Ensure employee information and HR transactions are accurately maintained in HRIS and other systems Assist with consistent interpretation and application of company policies and employment practices Support HR audits, special projects, process improvements and other organizational initiatives Maintain knowledge of applicable employment laws, regulations and HR best practices What You Bring 2–3 years of professional HR experience preferred Experience with general HR practices, employee relations, recruiting and HR administration Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion Excellent organization, attention to detail and follow-through Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel and Word Ability to learn and use HRIS and other HR systems Ability to work effectively with employees and management at all levels Willingness to travel as needed for investigations, recruiting or HR events A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field is preferred. Bilingual English and Spanish skills, experience with workplace investigations, and recruiting or talent acquisition experience are also strongly preferred.
