Role: The RN Clinical Nurse in Critical Care provides high-quality, safe, and individualized patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team. They practice in a clinical environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies. Responsibilities Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking and evidence-based practice. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations and cultural needs. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and updating on care goals. Coordinate safe, quality care documentation and foster a respectful, inclusive clinical environment. Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance activities to enhance patient outcomes. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, supporting professional development and fostering a healthy work environment. Promote evidence-based practice, adhere to policies and standards, and contribute to data collection and clinical research. Plan for resource utilization, develop protocols, and support efficient workflows. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Nursing degree; relevant licensure (RN license, BLS, ACLS). Less than 1 year of clinical experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Ability to respond effectively to emergencies, manage time efficiently, and utilize technology.
