Senior Accountant

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of GAAP, intercompany transactions, and the ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize tasks effectively. Primary Objectives Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and preparation of financial reporting in accordance with GAAP Ensure accuracy and completeness of transactions and financial reporting Review and validate financial information provided by subsidiaries Perform eliminations, translation, and consolidation in a timely and accurate manner Monitor performance highlights and produce monthly sales, gross margin & expense analysis Prepare weekly revenue forecasts and backlog reporting and analysis Coordinate with subsidiaries and department leaders to prepare annual budget. Prepare and review account reconciliations on a monthly basis resolving any issues in a timely and thorough manner. Manage Corporate credit card program. Identify and develop process improvements to streamline reporting and improve efficiency. Work with the Corporate Controller on special projects and other initiatives as required Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or higher 3+ years of professional accounting experience for a manufacturing or distribution company Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
