Role Overview: This position involves planning and implementing segments of treatment programs aimed at restoring and enhancing patients' physical, social, and mental functions. The occupational therapist collaborates as a co-leader within an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized in-home care. Key Responsibilities Conduct evaluations to assess patient needs, ensuring adherence to quality standards and utilizing appropriate clinical techniques. Develop and communicate individualized treatment and discharge plans based on assessments. Provide therapy interventions following established protocols and techniques. Complete accurate clinical documentation within designated deadlines. Supervise assigned therapy assistants and perform additional duties as required. Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD), with licensing in applicable states. Valid occupational therapy license, CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license (minimum age 21). Organizational Requirements: Commitment to safety includes mandatory vaccinations and participation in E-Verify. The role emphasizes delivering quality patient care within a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
