Registered Nurse - Full Time Night Shift

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse supports patient safety, recovery, and comfort by implementing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, interventions, and evaluation. They provide education, advocacy, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with the patient care team and support department leaders in quality improvement and unit growth. Practice within the full scope of their legal and professional competency, making clinical judgments and decisions. Ensure a healing environment, prevent harm, educate patients on their conditions and self-care, and deliver compassionate care. Assist in shift planning, contribute to unit improvements, precept new staff, teach students, delegate tasks, coordinate team activities, and communicate expectations effectively. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited RN program; BSN preferred. Minimum one year of clinical experience in acute care; experience with orthopedic and stroke patients preferred. For specialized roles, relevant experience in cardiac cath labs, ICU, or ER is preferred. Active California Registered Nurse License. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and specialty certifications as applicable; all must be current and active.
