Continuous Improvement Engineer

Position Summary: Lead data-driven initiatives to improve quality, yield, productivity, throughput, and cost across manufacturing operations. Work with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to identify root causes and implement sustainable improvements. Key Responsibilities: Lead Lean/continuous improvement projects and Kaizen activities. Analyze production data, scrap, rework, downtime, and cycle time. Perform root cause analysis using 5 Whys, 8D, Pareto, and Fishbone . Improve processes, workflow, yield, and production efficiency. Develop standard work, process controls, and performance metrics. Support 5S, value-stream mapping, waste reduction, and process optimization . Train teams on Lean tools and problem-solving methods. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering , or related field. 2–3+ years of continuous improvement, manufacturing, quality, or process engineering experience. Strong Lean/Six Sigma and root-cause analysis knowledge. Experience with SPC, PFMEA, control plans, and corrective action . Strong Excel/data analysis skills; Power BI or ERP/MES experience preferred. Manufacturing experience required; process-intensive manufacturing preferred.
