# SENIOR DESIGNER / HEAD OF DESIGN, JEWELLERY, to be based in Istanbul one week a month, working remotely for the rest of the time. Suitable if you are based in the UK / Europe or the UAE.

Our client are a long established, highly regarded and secure fashion retailer with 150 + stores in Turkey, and a smaller number of stores based in international locations. They have a long history in providing the discerning customer with aspirational accessories. They are now launching a jewellery line, which they will sell throughout their 150 stores, pre launching stand alone jewellery stores. They seek a Senior Designer / Head of Design, Jewellery, with 8 years
• 10 years ,++ experience. You will have extensive experience of working with prestige through to luxury brands who have some scale, think Missoma, Pandora, Swarovski through to the true luxury brands. You must have worked with recognisable brands, of a certain size
• with a revenue of at least £10 million. The right person will help our client to build a recognizable design DNA for the brand , rather than simply producing individual jewelry pieces. Over time, they want consumers to be able to recognize their products through their design language — while maintaining the newness, speed, relevance and commerciality required to build a significant modern jewelry business. Ultimately, they are looking for the combination of: Luxury jewelry credibility + strong design taste + fashion awareness + commercial instinct + speed + collaborative mindset. This role requires you to be working from Istanbul for 1 week a month, whilst working from home for the remainder of the month. This is a permanent role, however you will be invoicing on a monthly basis as a Consultant. Naturally your travel / hotel costs will be met when travelling to Istanbul and for business. Logistically, therefore you will be based in Europe, the UK or potentially the UAE.
