Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate patient care. You will support providers and nursing leadership by performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, contributing directly to the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare services. What You Will Do Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable experience. Obtain and record accurate medical histories to support patient care. Measure and document vital signs, contributing to comprehensive patient assessments. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring readiness and comfort. Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care. What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or equivalent experience as outlined in the job description. Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation. Preferred Qualifications Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
