Senior Backend Developer (Node.js)

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer (Node.js) who is passionate about building reliable backend systems and scalable services that power high-volume mobile and web applications. What You’ll Do Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable backend systems using Node.js. Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile teams to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. Build, maintain, and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services . Ensure high performance, availability, and scalability of applications. Design and manage database schemas and data models , working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug backend systems to ensure smooth operation. Contribute to architectural decisions and continuously improve backend infrastructure and code quality. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering , or a related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience developing backend systems using Node.js. Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js , and modern backend frameworks. Solid understanding of REST API design and development . Experience with PostgreSQL, and/or MySQL . Familiarity with cloud infrastructure , preferably AWS . Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming patterns. Understanding of software engineering best practices, including clean code, OOP principles, and design patterns . Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
