# Tooling Supervisor

Job Title: Tooling Supervisor Location: Sheboygan, WI Type: Direct Hire Schedule: Monday
• Friday, 8am
• 5pm Pay Range: $75k - $85k Benefits: Yes. Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), Paid holidays Summary Connect Search is hiring a Tooling Supervisor in Sheboygan. Responsibilities Manage all aspects of the tool department in regards to staffing, scheduling, quality, safety, cost control, and the efficient use of tool room equipment and personnel; Contribute to leading and abiding by the use of standardized processes for pressroom and tool room to maximize expectations for reliability; Serve as a liaison between engineering, tool room, and manufacturing on a project by project basis; Act as a technical resource for feasibility, concepts, and methods to improve tooling performance and/or part quality; Troubleshoot new and existing tools and establish and track corrective action to reduce downtime; Proactively research, recommend, and justify capital equipment expenditures to improve tool room process and function; Review current methods and processes to identify opportunities in the reduction of set-up times and improve tooling life; Identify continuous improvement opportunities and be actively involved in the implementation, planning, and execution of those projects; Create purchase orders and work with contractors and vendors to order new and replacement tooling; Qualifications 5 years' experience in a previous supervisory role, preferably with Tool room or related technical field is required; A Journeyman’s Tool and Die Card and/or Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering or related technical field is preferred; Strong verbal and written communication and leadership skills are required; Basic computer skills with the ability to understand and learn programs quickly is required; Advanced knowledge in Excel is preferred; Ability to interpret readings in CAD and Solid Works is preferred.
