We build Lens (how models represent a brand), Prism (catalog and brand data served to models as a source of truth) and Playbooks (turning the gaps into work). Customers include Sephora, Flormar, Kığılı, iBOOD and instantprint. What "AI-first" means here: we use AI tools and coding agents every day to research, write, build and analyze. We'll ask how you use them, and we expect you to improve how we do. About The Role You'll be our founding software engineer in Istanbul, designing and building the backend infrastructure behind Lens and Prism. You'll work directly with the founders and own the technical decisions that shape the platform. In your first 90 days Ship your first production change to Lens or Prism within your first two weeks Own a core part of the data pipeline end to end, including monitoring and on-call Write down the architecture decisions for the next 12 months and deliver the first one What you'll do Build data pipelines that query multiple AI models at scale and turn their answers into reliable data Build APIs that serve live product and catalog data to AI agents Own infrastructure decisions end to end: architecture, reliability, cost and security Work AI-first, with coding agents in your daily workflow What we're looking for 4+ years building and running production systems, including on-call Strong backend skills in Go, Python or TypeScript Experience with distributed systems and data or real-time pipelines Hands-on experience using AI in your development work Comfort owning the full stack when needed Nice to have Experience with LLM APIs, evaluation or retrieval systems Experience with e-commerce or catalog data This role is probably not for you if You want a large team, a fixed spec, or someone else to be on call.
