Java eTrading Developer

Context: We are looking for a Senior Java Developer to join a global electronic trading technology team responsible for building and maintaining a high-performance platform supporting interest rate products. The environment is fast-paced, business-driven, and focused on delivering scalable and low-latency solutions. This role involves close interaction with Front Office stakeholders and technical teams in a mission-critical trading ecosystem. Role: Design, develop, and optimize high-performance, multi-threaded backend applications Maintain and improve platform stability, scalability, and low-latency messaging capabilities Work closely with business users to translate functional requirements into robust technical solutions Provide support for production activities and ensure the reliability of the trading platform Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and continuous platform improvements Participate in code reviews and promote best practices across the development team Tech Stack: Core Java (modern versions), multithreading, performance optimization Exposure to C++ or other performance-oriented languages Client-side technologies such as C# or similar Messaging and communication protocols, including TCP-based systems Nice to have: experience with electronic trading platforms or vendor solutions Profile: 5+ years of experience in backend Java development within complex enterprise environments Strong expertise in multi-threaded and low-latency systems Previous exposure to electronic trading or real-time financial systems Good understanding of fixed income or similar capital markets workflows Ability to collaborate with Front Office users and work in a demanding, time-sensitive environment
