Overview Join Our Clinical Care Team ReGenesis Health Care is seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) to join our clinical team in Gaffney, South Carolina . Duties and Responsibilities As a Medical Assistant, you will work closely with medical providers and other members of the clinical care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Include Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs. Escort patients to examination rooms and assist providers throughout the patient visit. Perform pre-visit planning by reviewing patient charts, recent test results, correspondence, and outstanding orders. Communicate with providers regarding incomplete tests, consultations, referrals, or other orders before patient visits. Administer injections and medications as ordered and within scope of practice. Perform phlebotomy/blood draws and specimen collection. Assist with EKGs, OB/GYN examinations, office procedures, and other clinical services as directed. Prepare, clean, disinfect, and maintain examination and treatment rooms. Maintain clinical supplies, equipment, and medication records. Respond to patient communications and assist with clinical triage according to established policies and procedures. Accurately document patient information in the electronic health record. Follow infection-control, patient-safety, confidentiality, and clinical protocols. Participate in training and professional development activities. Support other ReGenesis Health Care locations when needed; approximately 25% travel may be required. Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program. Current Medical Assistant certification or registration. Current CPR/AED certification. At least 2 years of relevant Medical Assistant or clinical experience preferred. Experience obtaining vital signs, administering injections, and performing blood draws.
