Registered Nurse - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-Time Day Shift

Role Overview: The RN • Acute Care • Ortho Surgical is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in a clinical environment supported by evidence-based practices and organizational standards. They uphold the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics, advocating for patient needs and system policies. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care using evidence-based approaches. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient demographics and conditions. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate safe, quality care via interdisciplinary collaboration and timely documentation. Support performance improvement initiatives, research activities, and practice protocols to enhance outcomes. Serve as a preceptor/mentor, promoting professional development and a healthy work environment. Participate in data collection, clinical research, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Active RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in technology, time management, and ability to respond effectively in fast-paced or emergency situations.
