MRI Technologist

Role and Responsibilities: The MRI Tech performs Magnetic Resonance examinations based on physician orders, utilizing advanced MRI equipment. They consider patient-specific needs, applying knowledge of imaging factors and techniques to produce high-quality images. The role involves operating sophisticated technology, ensuring patient safety, and delivering exceptional diagnostic services. Qualifications and Skills: Candidates must meet certification, licensing, or registration requirements, including an Oregon MRI Technologist License or Temporary License. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, along with national certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 6 months of hire. New graduates must obtain a temporary license and secure a permanent license within 6 months. Key Duties: Carry out MRI procedures, adapt imaging techniques to patient needs, maintain equipment, ensure safety protocols, and collaborate with healthcare team members. The role is full-time, day shift, with a focus on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a supportive environment.
