OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE Location: Coralville, IA | Field-Based Base Salary: $40,000–$50,000 + uncapped commission 1st Year OTE: $60,000–$70,000 2nd Year OTE: $80,000–$100,000 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Territory: Approximately 40-Mile Radius, NO OVERNIGHTS Position Overview Our client is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to develop new business and grow customer relationships throughout the Des Moines market. With support from an inside sales team, you’ll focus on prospecting, appointments, proposals, cold calling, networking, and closing new business within your local territory. What You’ll Do Prospect and develop new business throughout the assigned territory. Build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Conduct sales appointments and present proposals to prospective clients. Generate opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media. Follow up with prospects and move opportunities through the sales process. Partner with the inside sales team to identify and develop leads. Consistently work toward sales and revenue-growth goals. What You’ll Bring Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Sales or customer-service experience preferred. Self-motivated with strong time-management skills. Ability to work independently and manage a local territory. Outside sales or business-development experience is a plus. CRM, networking, and social media experience is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree is a plus. Valid driver's license and ability to travel within approximately 50 miles. Benefits Uncapped commission. Car allowance.
