RN - Acute Care - Orthopedic Surgery - Full-time Day Shift

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care with a focus on Orthopedic Surgery, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practice and critical thinking. Deliver individualized, culturally sensitive, relationship-based care, partnering with patients and families to meet their goals. Ensure safe, high-quality care through effective documentation, communication, and adherence to clinical standards. Collaborate with healthcare team members via interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and shared governance activities. Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring, and participating in research and performance improvement initiatives. Promote evidence-based practices, participate in data collection, and support protocols to optimize patient outcomes. Utilize resources efficiently, contribute to protocol development, and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact). Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care experience. Strong interpersonal, communication, time management, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in technology and clinical documentation.
