Role: MRI Technologist responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining documentation accuracy. Responsibilities Provides accurate and efficient MRI imaging by operating equipment and setting optimal exposure factors. Positions patients correctly and processes images for radiologist review, using computer image optimization. Ensures proper patient identification, labels images, and records procedural details. Performs quality control, medication reconciliation for contrast media, and maintains departmental policies. Prioritizes patient safety by adhering to magnetic field safety standards and sterile practices. Provides compassionate patient care, communicates effectively, and maintains professional conduct. Qualifications Graduation from a certified Radiologic Technology or Allied Health Imaging program. One year MRI experience preferred. ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI required; MRI certification or ARMRIT within six months if not present at hire. State licensure in MRI for Oregon and Washington, with CPR/BLS certification.
