Role Description The Commercial Insurance Account Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Idaho Falls, ID. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, including policy servicing, renewals, coverage changes, and responding to day-to-day inquiries. The Account Manager will review and analyze client coverage needs, prepare quotes and proposals, and coordinate with carriers to ensure accurate and timely placement of policies. Daily work includes maintaining client records, tracking key dates, resolving billing or claims issues, and providing clear, proactive communication to support client satisfaction and retention. The role also involves collaborating with internal teams and producers to identify additional coverage opportunities and support overall business growth. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Account Management skills, including organizing client information, managing renewals, and maintaining long-term relationships. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to respond to inquiries, explain coverage, and interact professionally with clients and carriers. Candidates should possess solid Insurance knowledge, particularly in commercial lines, with the ability to interpret policies, endorsements, and industry terminology. Candidates should possess Sales-related abilities, such as identifying coverage gaps, presenting solutions, and supporting cross-selling efforts in a consultative manner. Relevant qualifications include prior experience in commercial insurance account management or brokerage, proficiency with insurance management software and Microsoft Office, and strong attention to detail. Additional beneficial qualifications include an active Property & Casualty insurance license (or willingness to obtain), experience with PEO or staffing environments, and the ability to work on-site in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.
