What You'll Do Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Spanish-speaking mortgage leads, providing exceptional service in both English and Spanish. Proactively contact, nurture, and convert an established pipeline of Spanish-speaking purchase and refinance prospects. Take incoming mortgage applications and work directly with borrowers to structure and preapprove home loans. Analyze credit, income, assets, and liabilities to identify appropriate financing solutions. Demonstrate strong working knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, and Fannie Mae lending guidelines. Guide borrowers through the mortgage process, from initial consultation and preapproval through closing. Maintain consistent communication and follow-up with prospects, borrowers, Realtors, and referral partners. Cultivate your existing book of business while developing new referral relationships within the Spanish-speaking community. Collaborate closely with Tammy Saul and the Federal Hill Mortgage team to maximize client satisfaction and loan production. Maintain meticulous organization, accurate documentation, and proactive management of your loan pipeline. Required Qualifications We are seeking an experienced, proven mortgage professional. This is not an entry-level opportunity. 5+ years of recent mortgage industry experience , preferably as a producing Loan Officer, Mortgage Loan Originator, or high-level Loan Partner. Fluency in both Spanish and English , with the ability to confidently conduct mortgage consultations, explain financing options, and develop client relationships in both languages. An established, active book of mortgage business , including existing Realtor relationships, referral partners, or a personal network that generates mortgage opportunities. A modest but demonstrable book of business is sufficient. At least 2 years of experience working with purchase loans. Exceptional mortgage loan structuring, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to convert mortgage leads into applications, preapprovals, and closed transactions. Thorough knowledge of mortgage documentation, underwriting guidelines, and loan qualification requirements. Strong sales instincts, relationship-building skills, and a proactive approach to business development. Outstanding communication, professionalism, attention to detail, and client service skills. Ability to independently manage multiple files in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Must be located within commuting distance of our Federal Hill office in Baltimore, Maryland. This is an in-office position. Candidates must be within 45-minutes from our office on Key Highway in Baltimore.
